Generich. and quin (九印) will be releasing a split-single on April 26th.
"Ryuumaku (龍脈)" features 3 tracks, one from each band, plus a collaborative opening track credited as JIKUIN (ジークイン). YUCHI, of Sukekiyo, was invited to play as guest bassist on the release (presumably on all 3 tracks, although I am having a hard time confirming that).
Ryuumaku will cost 3,000 yen, and will be sold as both a CD and an M-card. The cover art was done by kuin's Amano Yumihiko (天野弓彦).

)Lucy, i.e. the side-project of BUCK-TICK's Imai Hisashi, featuring Kiyoshi (machine, MADBEAVERS) and Okazaki Katsushige (AGE OF PUNK, M-AGE) has resumed activities, and will release their new album "ROCKAROLLICA III" on April 23. This comes a whole two decades after their previous album.

D'ERLANGER will release their new album "Evermore" on April 22. It will come in two versions: regular CD and limited CD+DVD. While the regular edition will contain an exclusive bonus track, the limited one will include live footage on its bonus DVD taken at the band's fanclub lives.

Continuing the tradition of having an awful name to search for on mercari 🤪 otherwise that's neat, it kinda gives the impression this is a more permanent band than a solo/session band. Also wondering if other members will have input composing the music. It's nice to have something consistent from Ruiza and Seth. -
The band ユナイト (UNiTE.) kicked off 2026 at full speed, showing no signs of slowing down in the first half of the year. After announcing their new single “selection,” set for release on 2026.04.01 the band has already surprised fans once again by unveiling the continuation of their re-recorded compilation series, “HOPES.” The third volume, titled “HOPES #3” will be released on 2026.07.08.

As per their official X account, DIR EN GREY's 12th studio album "MORTAL DOWNER" will be released on 04.08.2026.
The album will feature 13 Tracks including The Devil In Me.
Limited edition will contain footage from their TOUR25 蜿蜒 Tour Final at Zepp Haneda and audio from their recent TOUR25 WHO IS THIS HELL FOR? [mode of VULGAR & Withering to death.] dates in the US.Scant few details so far; no official track listing or samples, but a mysterious partnership with a US-based AI start-up with no resume... Discuss.
Interesting textures in places, Kyo isn't grating at all and a few sukekiyo-esque curveballs that I'm thrilled to hear. It's still unfortunate that they're married to this particular alternative/nu-metal riffing that makes the backbone for most of their material. Nostalgically longing for the time when their albums had incredible diverse riffing across the board. -
