Plastic treeParade is one of my Spring/Fall albums, Ether is an incredible opener and then Rocket comes in with its doofy-ass opening. I like the song, the intro is just annoying every time.

Cover art: the good, the bad, and the WTF@Jigsaw I've got two cali≠gari with tinted cases (Doukei, Suiren to Himawari regular press is blue and also scented and Haru no Hi CD-ban is pink) and Macabre is smokey grey.
I don't always love cali≠gari's covers (the photos of Shuuji with the cake for the 15 digital singles, I think the album art for 16/17 is much weaker than the singles and supplementary material), but Ao ALWAYS turns it out in packaging design and materials.

Last Gigs - the live report threadI've got a bunch of fun shows coming up, but the next thing I am seeing is a friend's... medieval improv comedy show with live musical accompaniment. I am genuinely unsure if he is funny or not, but we'll find out!

Your Top 10 Visual Kei Albums of All Time@pyromania Voyage is probably my least favorite, but I will give it a listen for the first time in decades this morning!
-
Your Top 10 Visual Kei Albums of All TimeThey're also outliers in their overall sound, less so for Traumerai, but I do love a left field swing.
-

Collectors: What are your holy grail item(s)?I have been very lucky in that weird shit that I want has appeared for reasonable prices, but one of them, LAB. THE BASEMENT'S Sayonara, ningen bokujou Fukanzenban which they only made 50 copies of came with a bad burn on the DVD-R with the full live. Nothing I own can read it :/. I'd love to get my hands on a copy of Ura Archives 2003-2008, but I do at least have the files!
