Currently watching The Pitt, I'm a ho for really good medical dramas and this has been the best one I've ever seen. I can't wait for the next ep.

Also want to watch that new Game of Thrones spinoff, but after seeing quite a few clips from GoT recently, I kinda wanna rewatch the show itself too (and still pretend the last season doesn't exist, lol).

Other than series, I'm desperately waiting for Iron Lung to release on streaming so I can rewatch it. I saw it in theaters and it was sooo good, so I can't wait to rewatch it- especially with subtitles so I can hear all the dialogue parts I missed in the theater.

Been playing a lot of Resident Evil Requiem since it came out, about to start my insanity run soon. Really enjoying the game a lot!

Besides that, rotating between Phasmophobia and other games like Kletka, Peak, Escape the Backrooms, and a few others. Warframe and FFXIV always in the mix there too.

My holy grail search: Fatima's 哀愁の底辺 (aishuu no teihen) tape

Fatima's one of the bands I decided I wanted to collect everything they had released, but this one has been the most elusive. I've found it about 3 times now but already sold, much to my dismay. Currently one up on mercari but it's almost $200 versus the others that were <$50 There's a few other Fatima goods I want but this is the one I'm like I NEEEED, lol

There's also a photobook for the pumpkin head that I'd reeeally love to have, but I only saw it for sale once on puresound- and of course I had no money at the time. Boooo.

And much less of a huge holy grail, but I'd like to eventually re-buy the old aknot only Blitz 5 Days dvd set from Dir en grey. I got lucky and bought it back when it originally released, but I was dumb and sold it a bit later. This one's definitely more a nostalgia thing for me, back when I was super obsessed with Dir and really active in the fan community. Good memories (mostly!)

And I soooo feel you about just needing more time (and energy on my part lol) It's really fun to go through archived fansites or even archived band homepages, just wish more had been archived! More than a few times I ran into stuff that'd be cool to translate, but it was only partly there

@gentility Oooh sadly I don't think I remember the name but I did indeed co-run versaillesfans and the fansite with some friends! I'm really glad it was helpful! I kinda miss running communities some days besides when there was user drama, hahaha

Part of me wants to watch Return to Silent Hill just to see how bad it is, but as someone who loves the series and skipped Revelation cause it seemed so bad, I feel like I'd probably regret it lol

Recently I went to the theater to see Iron Lung- just waiting for it to come out on streaming so I can rewatch it (especially with subs as some parts were really hard to understand). I really liked it though, a lot more than I expected.

I don't have any movies planned to watch soon, but I'm thinking about going through the episodes of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs to watch all the ones that I've missed. So sad that Shudder cancelled it, it was a great fun way to watch horror movies. Hoping that they find a new home for that format soon!

I'm a long time fan of VK, going back to around like 99ish? when I first discovered it. I'm not as deep into the vkei fandom as I once was, but I still love the scene and music. I've had many names over the many years (awakenthesadist, medicalshower, a few others..) but if you've been around a bit like back in the livejournal and batsu days, you probably have seen me around!

Some of my VK favs:

And a crapton of others I could list but it'd be too much, so feel free to dig through my last.fm profile! Recently, I got into the new band DRUGS but I've also been listening to a lot of non-VK (I may have a small Black Veil Brides obsession shhh)

I ran a bunch of vkei fansites back in the day, and I have an archive of them uploaded if you'd like to check them out here: visual-ongaku archive. It hosts the last copy I have of visual-ongaku, and fansites for aikaryu, unsraw, and Versailles. Behold the ancient mid 2000s coding skills! (probably not mobile friendly lol)

I also have a current fansite for Fatima here: candytrippers (someday I'll get back to adding to it ^^;)

And I haven't added to it in a while, but I used to upscale old vkei videos for better youtube watching: my channel
