In December 1993, Ryutaro Arimura and Tadashi Hasegawa formed Plastic Tree.
Through energetic live performances, they steadily gained fans and made their major debut in June 1997 with “Waketa Mado”.
The band's unique worldview drew attention, with their work spanning from aggressive guitar rock to pop-oriented sounds. This worldview gained popularity overseas, leading them to undertake a world tour in July 2006. They proved their ability to perform globally. In September 2007, they achieved great success with their Nippon Budokan concert marking their 10th anniversary since major debut. Their second Nippon Budokan concert on August 30, 2009, also concluded to great acclaim. Gaining ever more momentum, Plastic Tree stands as a pioneering rock band within the neo-visual kei scene.

Gotta love good ol' Plastic Tree!
These days I'm rarely in the mood for them explicitly, but they're always nice to listen to. By this point in time, I can enjoy any album of theirs, but of course some of the older ones have more sentimental value.
Any favorite albums, anyone? Mine are probably Puppet Show, Parade and Dona dona.

For me Plastic Tree (the band itself) has aged like wine - I'm honestly not that big of a fan of their old stuff but their later work is right up my alley. I find myself returning to their インク live "demonstration" album, just a really strong showing from them overall IMO.

by the way did you know that when a cat sleeps all curled up like this it's called called あんもにゃいと (ammonyaite / ammeownite)?

this knowledge will enhance your enjoyment of the album.
