Welcome to taiban.live.
-
taiban.live is a community forum dedicated to visual kei music, bands, fashion, and culture. Discuss artists, share news, explore history, and connect with fans worldwide.
Whether you’ve been following the scene for years or just stumbled in after some social media deep-dives, you’re welcome here. taiban.live exists to celebrate music, connect fans, and keep the focus where it belongs: on the artists and the culture around them.
This community centers the music first. Visual kei and similar scenes are fluid and open to interpretation, but discussion should stay focused on the art—not artists’ private lives, unverified rumors, popularity debates, political arguments, or repetitive piracy discourse. Respect boundaries, avoid speculation, and keep interactions grounded rather than parasocial.
Controversial aesthetics, streaming availability, career choices, and artists’ life paths are ultimately up to the artists themselves. If something isn’t officially confirmed, don’t invent it. Support musicians in ways that work for you, keep debates constructive, and help maintain a space that prioritizes respect, clarity, and the shared enjoyment of the scene.

Supporting the Community
A Patreon will be included in the near future to support server costs, etc. Any and all donations go toward keeping the forum up and running. Do not feel pressured.
Final Note
taiban.live thrives when fans share discoveries, post thoughtful updates, and treat one another with respect. Trust longtime contributors, uplift new voices, and remember why you’re here in the first place: the music.
Welcome to the front row.

I really appreciate the recent surge in Patreon supporters, and it means a lot as it helps keep the community going. Now, I do need to add supporter badges manually on the forum, so it may take me a day or so to get everyone updated. If you’ve recently subscribed and don’t see your badge right away, don’t worry, I’ll be going through and assigning them as soon as I can. Thanks again for the support!
I'll also look into potentially automating this process with API shenanigans.
