I started listening to the midi:nette and Sherow Artist Society crowds in 2008/9. LiveJournal was my home base, with a bit of Scape and Gaia. I’m hee_glance if you were around Versailles communities at the time or saw the short-lived Hi, Darlinggg community I co-created for KAMIJO solo.

And yes, through Versailles! That Nagoya sound just continues to hit, and who can resist a good goths-in-the-forest PV. I was listening to GACKT and MM in 2008, but it was KAMIJO and Jasmine in early 09 that made me a lifer.
